Giving Back
I can’t thank our customers enough for their continued support. Your business allows me to provide meaningful work for our team and to give back to the community that supports us. Each month, we donate to local charities selected by our customers and team members.
If you know of a local charity that could use our help, please reach out to Shannon at shannon@bureshhomesolutions.com. We receive many requests and do our best to support as many organizations as we can.
I recently filmed new commercials highlighting this giving program, and I also want to mention another initiative we do during the winter. When the weather turns cold, our field staff donates their time and skills to help local charities with handyman or construction projects. This program keeps our team busy doing the work they love, while giving back in a way that’s truly rewarding for everyone involved.

A Podcast I Recommend:
This episode brought together two of my favorite podcasters — Tim Ferris and David Senra from Founders Podcast. David recently launched a new show that features in-depth conversations with some of the most influential living founders and high achievers. Aptly titled David Senra, the podcast builds on his years of research into what drives greatness across different fields, offering insights meant to educate and inspire listeners.
In this particular episode, Tim and David explore the shared beliefs and habits of ultra-successful individuals like James Dyson, Charlie Munger, Steve Jobs, Warren Buffett, and several others you may not know but will definitely find fascinating. Take a look below:
Surprising Fact: There Are More Trees on Earth Than Stars in the Milky Way
It’s estimated that our planet is home to about 3 trillion trees — far more than the roughly 100 to 400 billion stars in the Milky Way. This eye-opening statistic comes from a 2015 study titled “Mapping Tree Density at a Global Scale,” led by researcher Thomas W. Crowther and his team.
Key Points from the Study:
Methodology: Researchers combined satellite imagery with ground-based data from over 400,000 forest plots worldwide to estimate global tree density.
Findings: They concluded there are around 3 trillion trees on Earth, averaging about 422 trees per person.
Implications: The study highlighted how vital trees are for combating climate change, supporting biodiversity, and maintaining healthy ecosystems.
Published in the journal Nature, this research has since played a major role in shaping global conversations about forestry and environmental sustainability.
